It has been rumored for some time that Devonshire might begin sump pump testing some time in 2019. Sue Blair, from our management company CRS, told me on Thursday that Devonshire has indeed begun sump inspections that are mandatory for all residents. Devonshire's manager, Steve Schroder, told me earlier this year that they planned to charge penalties to those unwilling to participate, so this may be the approach they are taking. Because we don't have regular communication with Devonshire, we may not hear for some time the results they uncover, but we'll be glad to share what we learn.
